In an adjoining room are files containing articles relating to Pershore and Family History including many school files - maybe you’re in one of these files.

Here too can be found reference to the area’s important contributions to the advancement of Horticulture.

Also a variety of research files undertaken with regards to the town’s history:

i.e. Thomas Woodward (a Victorian artist). Edward Humphries (Atlas Works) and Judge Perrott who opened up the Avon to river traffic, along with a number of other local dignities.

Here too are files covering organizations, schools and buildings relating to Pershore’s past.

Close to display 5 is another model, this time of Pershore Abbey. Whilst on the wall are lace making pieces also from the Pershore area.

Glove making was an important source of income for the women of the area so also on display here are patterns and gloves made by some of these women.

On the table next to this can be found household items: bedwarmers, chamber pots and a wealth of carpentry tools.

The next display houses a sewing machine, a washtub and other kitchen utensils used around the home. This is part of a collection miscellaneous items covering many ages.

On the wall can be seen research results on the 32 pubs once part of the Pershore scene.
